Today is the BIG Australian Penfolds tasting from 5-7pm. Penfolds is probably a "top 5" best winery in Australia. Peter Gago, the chief winemaker, has superior winemaking skills that stay mostly untouched by anyone.

This is an epic tasting in our opinion, which no one should miss. For your convenience, we will provide glasses tonight to taste the wines.
Today, we are tasting Spanish and Slovenian wines from 5 to 7pm. We are going to start with a Pinot Grigio from Slovania, then a Red Blend, a tempranillo, and Grenache blend all from Spain.

Today, we are featuring a wine from Sardinia, which is an island with similar soil as Sicily. This is a great buy for an Italian wine and it is fairly new to our store.

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen,
So it's my understanding that we have been doing too many French wines for the vintage service lately. Just wanted to say It's not our fault if they are so good. But we have looked up and down the wine map for our customers and found a gem right next door in Spain. The Triton winery is has been really great for us in the past and they have come out with a phenomenal 100% mencia grape wine once again.
Bodegas Triton Avante 2009-
The 2009 Avante is 100% Mencia sourced from multiple vineyards with an average age of 43 years. The wine was aged in both stainless steel (30%) and French oak (70%) for 5 months. It offers up notes of earthy minerals, a hint of balsamic, black cherries, and violets leading to a nicely proportioned, sweetly fruited, savory red with excellent volume and length. It is an outstanding value for drinking over the next 4-5 years.
