FREE Southern French wine tasting!

You are cordially invited to join us for a nice French wine tasting Friday 5-7pm. We are tasting wines from the south of France, in our opinion, some of the best value wines you can get.

We are going to start with a white Picpoul-de-Pinet from the Saint-peyre winery, then a mostly Carignan grape with some Syrah and Grenche blend from Château Saint Baulery in the Saint Chinian, then we are going to taste a Corbieres from Chateau la bastide and finish it off with a Cabernet Sauvignon from Villa des Anges winery in Pays d'oc.

Remember this event is FREE!

Don't forget to bring a glass, or you may purchase a glass from us, otherwise we will have plastic cups to taste with.

NAPA Cabernet Sauvignon

Today, a great value when it comes to NAPA Cabernet Sauvignon.

2007 Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

It is hard to find a better value than the outstanding 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (which may even be discounted for under $25 a bottle). This sleeper of the vintage exhibits an opaque ruby/purple color as well as loads of cassis, blackberry, graphite, and cedar notes. Full-bodied, rich, and concentrated with silky tannins and a lush, generous constitution, this beauty is capable of lasting 10-15 years.

I know there have been a lot of concerns about the huge Constellation empire running Mondavi, but these remain very impressive wines.

Rated 90pts by Robert Parker.

Reg Price: $25.99 - Vintage Price: $23.25 or $22.50 if you purchase 6 bottles.

Do not delay since it is bound to sell out at this price!
