2007 Siesta Malbec

An impressive wine is offered to you this week from Argentina's first family of wine.

Owned by Ernesto Catena, Siesta is an expression of his intense passion for wine, Argentina, art, and life. A Mendoza native, he personally selects the fruits from vineyards planted in careful circular and labyrinth patterns in the prestigious sites of Tupungato, La Consulta, Vista Flores, Altamira, and Tunuyan within the Valle de Uco. He then masterfully crafts these wines of dictinct character and typicity at the magnificent facility he shares with his father at Catena-Zapata.

2007 Siesta Malbec

Rich but very weel-focused, with Kenya AA coffee framing the roasted fig, hoisin sauce and plum pudding notes, which glide through the graphite-supported finish. Muscular, but defined and fresh. Impressive.

Rated 91pts by The Wine Spectator.

Reg Price: $19.99 - Vintage Price: $18.00 or $17.50 when you buy 6 or more bottles.

Please reply to this email if you wish to purchase some of this wine.

Thank you.
